Recipe for Banana Bread

Here’s a simple recipe for banana bread you can serve at an impromptu snack. All you need is a few ripe bananas at home to delight your loved ones or guests.

Ingredients

  • 240 g of all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 teaspoon of salt
  • 200 g of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 225 g of softened butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 very ripe bananas (or 4 bananas and 1 pear)
  • 80 ml of heavy cream
  • Rum (adult version)

Instructions

In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and baking soda. Pour a little rum into another bowl and add the sliced bananas.

In a stand mixer, combine the softened butter with the sugar, then add the beaten eggs, the bananas (and pear, if you like). Add some of the flour, then the cream, and repeat the process.

Grease a loaf pan lined with parchment paper and pour in the mixture. Bake in the oven for 50 minutes to 1 hour at 180°C.
